Tea-13 Until April 15 Tea Party

April 1, 2009 - We are only 13 days away from one of the biggest grassroots efforts in years. Americans for Prosperity, along with American Solutions and a host of other conservative groups are sponsoring a nationwide effort to protest the country's march toward socialism.

Below is an e-mail from Cobb County Tea Party organizer Claire Waldron:

ATTENTION TO ALL TEA PARTY PATRIOTS!

We are having our follow-up COBB Tax Rally meeting this Saturday 4/4 @ the same location, the Cobb GOP office. We will start after the monthly Cobb Republican Breakfast @ Williamsons and are able to transport over to the GOP office (approx. 10:30-11:00am). The address is: 1234 Powers Ferry Commons, Suite 105, near Kroger, take a rt. on the sm. street between the "Brazilian" businesses- 770-272-3382

We NEED your help & your input to make this the HUGE success WE KNOW IT CAN BE! Spread the word! Even if you were unable to attend the 1st meeting, we still need your ideas!

The event has been set for 4:00-5:00 @ Mta. Sq. 4/15 - Bus(es) @ $15.00 per person will board at 5:15 downtown for the National Tea Party @ the State Capital, featuring Dick Army & Sean Hannity! (w/ a possible additional headliner!)

So to reiterate - Saturday, April 4th 8:30 AM - Cobb GOP Breakfast at Williamson Bros. BBQ.
11:00 AM Tea Party Planning meeting at Cobb GOP HQ

Wednesday, April 15th 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM Tea Party @ Marietta Square
6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tea Party @ GA State Capitol w/Sean Hannity and Dick Army.

Hate to burst your bubble but we are not marching towards socialism. Trust me, from a socialist, this is very much more corporatist than socialist.

The bottom line is that American's have been sheltered from political movements across the world and in general don't understand the intentions of the socialist movement.
