Sunday, January 13, 2013 - With the first full week of 2013 behind us now, I thought it would be time to list some items of interest coming up in the soon:
1. The Cobb GOP will be having a committee meeting this Thursday, January 17, at 6:30 in the Marietta City Hall Committee Room, located at 205 Lawrence Street in Marietta, Ga. This will be an important meeting as Mass Precint Meetings will be held in February, with the County Convention and the State Convention in March and May respectively. Not in Cobb County, but close enough - the Heritage Foundation's President Edwin Feulner will be introducing his replacement, former Soutth Carolina U.S. Senator Jim Demint, at a meet and greet reception. The event will take place at the Westin Hotel, Tuesday, February 12, at 6:00 PM. The Westin is located at 3391 Peachtree Road in Atlanta, GA.
The Lincoln Day Dinner with U.S. Representative Tom Price will take place at the Petite Auberge Restaurant Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $50.00 a person.
