Thursday, 03 March 2011 - This Saturday Cobb County GOP Chair Scott Johnson will celebrate his last breakfast as head of the Party in Cobb County. The breakfast will be held at the regular location, Williamson Brothers Barbecue on Roswell Road, beginning at 8:00. Next Saturday March the 12th will be the County Convention where a new GOP Chair will be elected.
After the breakfast at approximately 10:00 AM there will be a meeting of the Nnominating Committee for District and State delegates. Those wishing to be a delegate to either the District Convention on April 16th, or the State Convention in Macon May 13th to 14th need to appear before the nominating committee to ensure your name appears on the delegate slate which will be approved at the County Convention.
Helen Story will be hosting a meet and greet for the Joe Dendy Slate of Candidates for the Cobb GOP Executive Officers at her home on Saturday, March 5th from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. If you plan to attend RSVP Helen Story at 770-997-6891, or email her at Hstory66@comcast.net.
